Texts, plays, and films about how a person lives through trauma and finds themselves again.
Acting as a way to live. Thirty years of watching how people, on stage and in life, become either alive or merely convenient — and a method that teaches the first. It doesn't matter whether you dream of playing Hamlet or just want to stop fearing your own voice in a meeting.

The story of a Ukrainian soldier returning to life after severe injury. Documentary testimony from soldiers, doctors, and civilians, woven together with poetic text. The practical outcome of a master's research project on post-traumatic dramaturgy.
Read the play ↗A one-act dream-play, balanced on the edge of metaphysical absurdity. Two couples on a single Sunday morning that keeps reassembling itself like a dream: names, loves, and fates flowing from one character into another, until it's no longer clear who is dreaming whom. About meeting the lost versions of yourself, and the people we never dared to become. 2 male and 2 female roles.

My master's thesis, "Integrating Tragedy and Trauma" (Master of Arts in Theatre, Theory and Dramaturgy — University of Ottawa), proposes a model of post-traumatic dramaturgy: a synthesis of classical tragedy, mystery drama, the hero's journey, and psychological models of recovery after trauma.
Its practical outcome is the play Thy Word Be Done: the story of a Ukrainian soldier returning to life after severe injury. The text weaves documentary testimony — interviews with wounded soldiers, doctors, and civilians — together with poetic writing, so the audience can witness both the trauma and, at the same time, recovery and hope.
